Forrestine Paulay

Forrestine Paulay, PhD, is a graduate of GISC's coaching program. Interest in body awareness as a resource for developing our full human potential has led her to work in the fields of child development, Laban movement analysis, Educational Kinesiology, Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement, Cranial Sacral and other osteopathic techniques, Gestalt and Focusing oriented psychotherapies, and the Diamond Approach.

Forrestine has taught movement and movement observation at Hunter College, New York University and Columbia University, where with Alan Lomax, she also codirected Choreometrics, a cross cultural study of dance and movement style. She currently maintains a therapy practice and a body based Gestalt oriented coaching practice in Hastings on Hudson, New York, and will soon be opening a practice on Cape Cod.
